I saw a press release which made me shake my head this evening. The purpose of the press release was to advise of a merger between Thesisdom and WritingShield. Only problem? The SPOTD who wrote the press release spelled “shield” as “sheild” [sic] the whole way through it, which made me think that perhaps Thesisdom ought to focus less on mergers and more on hiring PR writers who can spell, given they’re trying to target an academic audience…
